fighting and hwaiting!!!
God works in interesting ways, in that He is able to time situations so perfectly according to His plan. Two of my co-workers got laid off today and it was really sad to see them go. One of them is very close to me to the point that I can call her my friend. Before all this happened, she asked me if I wanted to go downstairs and take a walk. We ended up walking probably 8 times around the building before we decided we should head back up to do work. I don't know how I'm feeling. God is great in that I was able to be a listener as she spilled her feelings about the exam, why this is happening to her, and what God's will is for her. I'm happy that I took the walk; I'm glad that I didn't hold back and prayed for her. It was shocking to see them go. I realized that this is how it is, the way jobs work. It's part of "life", that people get laid off and so on. It is a good reminder that things won't ever go our way or how we planned it to be. But one thing is for sure, is that jobs or being licensed or being certified do not define who we are, but that our identity is in Christ. So there is hope! Just as how the day was gloomy and rain was pouring, the sun is now coming out, shining brighter than ever, reminding us that God is in control. He is sovereign over all creation - nature, humans, work, you name it! There will be periods of trials and sufferings, but praise God that He won't let us bear more than we cannot. So we will keep rejoicing, keep praying and give thanks to God! We will keep fighting and hwaiting for God! :)
