Stories to remember!

Before I forget because I want to remember these moments forever!! I am in awe right now:

1) August 12, 2016
Didn't feel well today at work and decided to leave early at 11:30pm. Around 5:00pm, the doorbell rang. I opened a door expecting someone else but it was a man who stood in front of me. He was holding my lost wallet. He asked me if I was Doris and I'm like YES!! He found the wallet in the lobby of my building and kept it in the lost and found (he is the property manager). Since no one showed up to claim it for a while, he decided to deliver it to my home address found on my driver's license. I was in awe of God's blessing and providence. All my cards and money are inside...and what can I say except PRAISE THE LORD! HE IS SO GOOD. HE CARES AND PROVIDED FOR ME!! Feeling so loved :D :D :D

2) June 14, 2016
The week before I swam and my ears were clogged from the water. My ears started to hurt so I finally went to the doctors to be prescribed medication for swimmer's ear. I knew my ears would be okay, but the thought of leaving the next day to Taiwan and changes in pressure may cause some discomfort for me. That night (Tuesday, June 14) was a team meeting for HL, and I shared with J about my situation during dinner. J boldly prayed for me, that before my flight God would heal my ears. Afterwards, we had our meeting and while the team members were speaking it was hard for me to hear them. It was until the pastor spoke, that something happened. She was reading from Isaiah 40:
26
Lift up your eyes on high and see:
    who created these?
He who brings out their host by number,
    calling them all by name,
by the greatness of his might,
    and because he is strong in power
    not one is missing.
27
Why do you say, O Jacob,
    and speak, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
    and my right is disregarded by my God”?
28
Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
    his understanding is unsearchable.
29
He gives power to the faint,
    and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
    and young men shall fall exhausted;
31
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint.
At that moment when she said "Have you not known? Have you not heard?", my ears popped and suddenly I could hear a lot more. I was really surprised!! Though my ears became muffled again, I could pop it more often. The next day when I woke up to finish packing for my flight, my ears were healed and I was all okay for my flight :)

What can I say? GOD IS GOOD. HE REALLY DOES CARE FOR ME AND PROVIDED FOR ME. PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE THE LORD!!!
