sakura blooms :)

day 266.
Went to High Park today with my family to look at the beautiful sakura trees :) They are so beautiful - pink and white. Reminded me a lot about an anime, ahahha, cardcaptor sakura! I really loved this anime when I was younger, hahhaa, I've always wanted to be like Sakura - she's so pretty, athletic, and talented! hahhahah, not only that, but the guy (Syaoran-kun) is cute hahha! :P I definitely enjoyed the sakura trees. It only blooms for one week! I'd like to go again next year! Besides the sakura trees, I went to the little zoo at High Park! hahaha, it's like I've become a little kid again - so excited to see random animals! Unfortunately I couldn't see the kangaroo :( I don't recall seeing one in real life...but I saw peacocks! And they were really spiffy looking. I found out that male peacocks are the only good looking ones - they are the ones with the pretty feathers! And they go to attract the ladies! ;) hahhaa, it was really cool and sad to see the male peacock showing off its feathers to the two female peacocks. It kept prowling or something...and the female peacocks ignored him :( Poor peacock. I think it's because he's one of the two male peacocks so they really don't have much choice, HAHAH! I just found it interesting how the male peacocks are so pretty and they are doing the work to attract the (ugly) female peacocks :P The male peacock needs to use a lot of energy to hold up that fan!

After an exciting morning/mid-afternoon, went to a bit of softball practice!! Praise God for a great weather! It sucked how I wasn't in comfortable softball attire, but it was good to sprint from base to base and practice batting! Gotta start jogging and training!! After that, I got a new haircut! It's now less than shoulder length, and it is a bob cut! The good thing is, I saved money - mama Tang cut my hair :D hhahahaa, it's pretty hilarious, I can't wait to grow it out. It's funny because I know so many females who have cut their hair bob-style and hahaha we all look like 小丸子 ahahaha! After it grows out a bit, I will posh cut it :D
