God is good!

God is good!
Home has been good. Good food and good laughs :)
Then I'm told that marks are out and praise God, I did okay. I think I know why I always go on this roller coaster ride about my marks, because I've set such high standards...I try not to but it's so hard for me to accept low marks. But I am happy I passed. So praise God! Other than that, I've had a good time - I went outreach with my mom and her short term missions group. I was in the silver star area, and we went to each store, handed to the manager/person that was there a gift and sang the first verse of "Joy to the world" in Chinese to them. I suppose it wasn't outreach outreach, where we would sit down and have a talk about God. But the experience was really unique because we were shot down at first by many restaurants and stores...but God was working because soon, many managers were willing to listen to us and sing. And because of this, we started to sing louder and become more energized! It really shows how God is the one that works...of course, the small go into the store and leaving and just singing a song won't do much...but some of the people were really happy. They really enjoyed it; their faces brightened up because we were singing to the people. Unless you know, they were just being nice :P It got me thinking how hard it is for me to always share about Jesus to people on campus, when it is so easy for me to shout it out in restaurants that God loves you! I really think that God builds you up and gives you more and more strength each time you say Jesus loves you to people. Because we were on fire for God. Hahah, nevertheless, it was a good experience :) and we give all glory to God :)

mmm something else that I just found out....my classmate from high school got engaged!!!! I actually cannot believe it because shes the same age as me! But her relationship has been good with her boyfriend and she is a strong believer in Christ also, so many blessings to her and her fiance!! :) woooow, imagine one of us being married!!

ohhhh! something I remembered when I went to simply church, how in the Canadian culture, people tend to cover up the real meaning of Christmas with lights, shopping, family time, being generous, etc. But we must always remember that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, the one God sent to be with us. To ultimately, carry out God's purpose so that we are able to be with God once again. I now realize how we've forgotten so much about Jesus; shopping for gifts for friends and family, meeting up with everyone. That's okay but we must also remember what Christmas is all about. It's all about Jesus.

JESUS LOVES YOU! :) never forget that.
