refreshing.

For the past two days I was able to wake up to look at a whiteboard with Colossians 3:1-4,

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. ² Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. ³ For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

It was really refreshing to see this passage and what striked out was to "set my mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth." I always set my mind on earthly things...marks...relationships (seriously...it keep coming up with conversations I have with before..it gets frustrating but I understand they mean good...), like what R said, the world is getting so noisy and I am distracted by the world. But I know that I need to make the effort now to really set a time with God. To just really immerse myself with God, to be content with God and just relying on him and trusting him.
