Yesterday night/this early morning, I was given the opportunity to be apart of the secret church broadcast. I praise God for this opportunity because it was six hours of God's word poured upon me and filling me. Praise God!!! We went through the entire Bible and how it spoke about suffering and the ultimate reason for suffering. It was designed by God, even before all of Creation. Suffering was built for Good Friday - for Jesus to be ultimately the one, the Lamb, to be sacrificed and to suffer for all our sins. The battle is over already, because Jesus won. Therefore, we no longer fight for victory but we fight from victory!!! Amazing truths all night. And praise God because though satan was trying to stop us to hear the broadcast - he would disconnect the internet at my church or make me feel really sleepy (the spirit may be willing but the flesh is weak - Matthew 26:41) - but I heard this amazing truth - God is the controller. Satan is controlled. You see, when we see suffering or suffering ourselves, God intends it for us but uses suffering to sanctify us. But satan, he uses suffering to destroy us. God is sovereign over all things and everyone!!! I can't even begin to say how thankful I am of Jesus and all these truths I am drinking in because it's changing me. :) I've never learned so much in those 6 hours that really filled and brought me to my knees to really ponder these questions: "Is God worth my life? Is Jesus worth my life?" and "Do I fear men or the Lord?" Because if you answer saying God is worth your life and you fear the Lord - you better start picking up your cross and go out and tell those who are lost about Jesus. And to be 100% real with you, that is what I am struggling with.
We Will Go by Mandi Mapes
Lonely lay a little baby crying for her father's arms
Sunlight seems to be fading as the smoke rises from the war
Woman thirsting for water watching as her life slips away
Men come falling on their faces praying to a god who cannot save
So we'll go, to the edge of the world
Bringing good news to the broken and the poor
There is hope for all who are thirsty
To come to the Well as you are and drink of his mercy
The devil comes to kill and ruin, but our life is hidden in the Son
So we'll raise our banner cause the war's not over, but it's already won
For he came and died to save and rose up from the grave the King of kings
So we'll raise our voices, full of truth and justice and let them ring
So we'll go, to the edge of the world
Bringing good news to the broken and the poor
There is hope for all who are thirsty
To come to the Well as you are and drink of his mercy
All who call upon the Lord will saved
But how can they call when they don't believe
And how will they believe if they've never heard
And how will they hear unless someone tells them
And how can they tell them if they're never sent?
So we'll go, to the edge of the world
Bringing good news to the broken and the poor
There is hope for all who are thirsty
To come to the Well as you are and drink of his mercy
It's all for your glory God
