Isaiah 41:10

 Read/listen to this sermon:  http://www.desiringgod.org/resource-library/sermons/fear-not-i-am-with-you-i-am-your-god

"fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

What I write now won't do the sermon justice, seeing as I am writing my thoughts out before heading off to bed. I just came across this verse while looking for another verse. After coming across this, I wanted to look at the commentary. This popped up on google search and seeing as it is John Piper, I had to click on it and skim through the sermon. And you know what? God is good. He's so good to me. As I am preparing myself for work tomorrow, I feel anxious about it. Anxious because I'm scared that I will lose sight of God. Scared that I have the feeling that "I can do this on my own strength and not depend on God". This drives me to pray all the more because I want God to be in control. I want Him to override my life because I'm weak and dumb to be honest. How comfortable it is to know that we are able to draw strength on God, knowing that it will never run out.

As John Piper puts it, (the five pillars of fearlessness)
"God is with me. God is my God. God will strengthen me. God will help me. God will uphold me."

So "fear not...(1) God is with you (2) God is your God (3) God will strengthen you (4) God will help you (5) God will uphold you."

For those of you starting your co-op term or study term, whatever happens, FEAR NOT! God is here and will not leave :) Draw your strength from God and continue to glorify Him everyday!
