today is a BIG DAY. today I got to see what it is like to attend a convocation. Though it was slightly boring, it was also inspirational :) so congratulations daddio!! on receiving a large piece of fine paper :) 恭喜, 恭喜! and I don't usually go downtown often, but due to the G20 summit, I keep seeing police EVERYWHERE. MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF THEM, securities so tight >< haha I wanted to take a picture with them :) except I'd think they'd look at me weirdly :P anyways, since today is a special day, my family got to eat at sushi on bloor!! yummy sashimi and tempura!! A must-go restaurant if you are in downtown and like japanese food!! :) and finally, I DIDN'T FEEL THE EARTHQUAKE. gaaaaah. and I was walking too when it happened apparently, and i didn't even feel it :( its sad and fortunate at the same time!! so PRAISE GOD!! I'm thankful that no one got hurt! just people evacuating buildings :) yeeee!
