Who do you say I am?
Some say I'm cute. Some say I'm hyper. Some say I'm smart. Some say I'm weird.

Who do you say I am?

Who do you say Jesus is? Who is Jesus to you?

The interviewer asked me this question today and not that it didn't surprise me, but I didn't formulate a good enough response. I believe I went on and on and he just stared at me, but it got me thinking when Jesus asked his disciples "Who do they think He is" OR "Who do you say I (Jesus) am?"

Matthew 16:14

They (the disciples) replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do YOU say I am?"

Simon Peter answered, "YOU ARE THE CHRIST, the Son of the LIVING GOD"

THAT, is something powerful. It's amazing. You cannot read this and not be like, wow, you are so dead on Peter. So dead on. Who do you say Jesus is? I say He is the Almighty God, one who IS love, one that can truly loves everything about anyone (background, ethnicity, upbringings, diseases), one who IS pure and hangs with the impure (me), one that doesn't mind what the world thinks but the Father's and HE IS MY SAVIOUR. He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Hallelujah.

If my response was something like that it would've been really cool :\ haha! Even though these responses may sound "sunday school" like, but nope. It's not. Not if you truly believe what you're saying and am saying it with a passion. Nevertheless, a nice interview I had there and a good prep for future interviews!! yaaay! win-win situation! :) i like (y)
