I explored the great white north with my family today and we went super north. We first went to Stouffville for the strawberry festival, but we found out that it doesn't start till 2pm. So we walked around the carnival place and I got to hold a GREEN rabbit!! It was a rabbit that was sprayed with green colour (poor rabbit) to make it look more "festive". It looked kinda awkward but it's green and I took a picture with it :). We left Stouffville shortly and went north north north north, to york road?! I don't remember, I just remember land, land, and land. What I did enjoy the most was looking at the fields and they were growing corn and when the wind blew across the fields, you can see a wave - it was really pretty. It reminded me of God's creation and it seemed like (in a sense) that the crops were praising God and worshipping Him (the wave). I don't know, that's what it seemed to me :P. After a long drive, we went strawberry picking!! It's not exactly strawberry season, so the berries are small, but they are really sweet!! hahah :) had a great time with my family for the first half of the day.
the next half of the day I spent with my girlfriends :) we went gal's sushi (yummmms) and we went out on a 92-pieces of sushi and sashimi and rolls and whatever else was on there! haha! I had a lot of fun EATING (nom nom nom) and catching up with my friends :). Then we got to watch the fireworks together at Milne Park. Oh my, it was absolutely stellar!! it was really loud but it was also amazing!! It was really pretty and big and just spectacular!! I also got to see friends I haven't seen in a while; saw lisa! ronald! sarah! miranda! lexi! emily! derek! wooow. so many people :) PRAISE GOD. And just watching the fireworks made my night that much happier :) (I think the fireworks polluted the atmosphere even more) and I took pictures!! I timed it slightly perfectly so I got pictures of pretty fireworks!! yeeeeeee :)
