day 224.
Elevator talks are great :) I talked to a guy on my way down to the ground level. It was awkward, but it was nice to see how he was and how his day was. In the end, we said have a nice night and departed. Which brings me to another topic - the moon is so bright today! So white and pale! you can imagine the sun working in the background; the light rays hit the moon, and they are reflected back toward the dark parts of the world (that is, night time) so that humans are able to see light. And here's my link to God (haha, I didn't think of this till I started typing). We need light. To see. Simply put, Jesus is the light of the world (the sun). Everything of him is reflected outwards - the light rays. The light rays travel (at whatever speed they're going, 3.0 x 10^8 m/s2), so actually really fast! They hit the moon (US!!! believers of God), and if the rays hit an object at different angles (the angle of incidence), then the rays will be reflected off of the object at a different angle (the angle of reflection) Oh man, this sounds confusing, sorry! So these rays are then reflected off of the moon (us - believers of Jesus) and then becomes a light to darkness (unbelievers). And these reflected rays reach out to different parts of the world. I'm not sure if this is correct (physics people please correct me!) but I think some light rays are absorbed by the moon also? So the moon absorbs and reflects rays coming from the sun. Therefore, we - believers of God, receive the light from Him (through the Word), we absorb it (by understanding it, rooting it into our lives), but we also reflect the light (how we walk the talk that we talk) to those that are in darkness (people who have not heard of the gospel or know Jesus Christ themselves). I MISS PHYSICS. ootka. that means duck in russian. So here is my speal on the moon. I shall call it the moon analogy. Go physics!
p.s. God's light travels WAY faster than light (3.0 x 10^8 m/s2)...so absorb His light fast!!! Don't let them get away!

portia and i saw the REALLY BRIGHT MOON TOOO!!!!
ohhh very good analogy =P. I like it.
We are called to be salt and light (Matt 5).
the only thing is that speed is in m/s and not m/s^2 (that's acceleration =P)
HAHA jorge...
even better!! God's light is really fast! faster than speed, therefore acceleration! :P
Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way
and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Isaiah 55:6
i like how it's m/s2
He closes the distance with love =D
