little girl at best western plus @ Pennsylvania..she doesn't know how to use waffle maker:
[girl looks at me]
me: do you speak english? (cause i cannot speak mandarin)
girl: yes...chinese!
me: so...mandarin? (HAHAHAHHHAA)
girl: .....
me: [doing it for her...] so you lift the lever to pour the mix into the cup and you pour it onto the waffle maker
girl: ....
man: [in mandarin] you pour this onto the waffle maker
minutes later, i realize that her family speaks both mandarin and cantonese. but the parents speak cantonese to each other and mandarin to the kids. awkward experience ever.
