I had a mellow day at work today. ps last day of work. hahah yaaay, I get to relax. nah, i need to pack. Anyways, I had an interesting conversation with the person I'm working with - we talked about the world and its views and such. She told me how in grade 11, her english teacher (he's cynical, apparently) told her class that if people think that genocide is bad then they should think in the scientist's perspective: since there's six billion people in the world, killing a number of people doesn't make a difference; it's a method to keep the population under control. let's inhale all that in. and breathe out.
Then we started talking about euthanasia. She asked me what I thought of it - that if a relative was brain dead and that person was basically lying on the bed and nothing can help him/her, would you unplug his/her life? Well, first of all, that never happened to me, so under that circumstance, I wouldn't be able to know what I'd do - nor that I would have to make such a decision. buuut, no, I wouldn't "unplug/stop" his/her life. I believe that God is the only one that can take one's life and if He doesn't, then He doesn't. If He does, He does. Till then, I'd wait and pray for something to happen. But I didn't and couldn't get into the whole debate with her; I didn't want to, cause I kind of know her and some of her past.. I can only pray that she'll find God and feel the thirst and hunger to seek Him.
after work, SOFTBALL! :) soooo crazy!! I saw the Ravens and Thermelios!! woow, we were all at the same park, and there were only two usable fields. And Jason's team took the first one! -.- buuum. But at least I got to see him and erin :D hahahha. HAHHAHA. good times; Praise God :) In the end, it took my team an hour to find another field (people like playing softball on thursdays, go figure) and so we had a short practice :P
