day 59.
today was my last official dg with diana and salina. we went to mel's diner and had mel's favourite for breakfast! yummy overeasy eggs, two slices of buttered white bread, potato fries cut up in small bits and three small slices of ham. yummy tummies :) and we talked and talked and LAUGHED AND LAUGHED and gave thanks to God; for everything that He has done in our lives! Diana gave salina and i a pretty frame with our group picture in it - it's sooo sweet! thank you diana so much! for being a great leader and a caring friend! thank you! and also salina! for preparing the thank you card and it was good times trying to write in it (haha dave, you tried. thanks for attempting) I'm also very thankful for jess and andy. THANK YOU jess+parents for bringing in my charger and toothbrush and whatnot and a big THANK YOU to andytse! uoy knaht! for helping me get my stuff; and well overall, thank you for letting me bug you when you're hardcoring for exams - hcum os uoy knaht!!! elpe was also alright :\ but heeey, its all gooood (y) - i just don't know if i've actually done enough to just pass (keekeekee). but for the rest of day, i got to study with milktin :) and that was nice. annnd, i found out that i have not returned back to my love challenge: 1 Corinthians 13! shame on me! X X X X X X ! (not a word) and now, it seems as though i'm on verse 6: Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. oh so true. eurt os ho. :) I remember that years ago, I learned that when a brother or sister in Christ rebukes one another - though it makes you feel bad, it's good that someone is giving you a wake up call. that you're doing something wrong. that you need to change to do what is good in God's eyes. 1 Timothy 5:20 says: Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that others may take warning. NO human likes to be told. but if we are doing things that are not right in God's eyes; being selfish and not loving others (not sacrificing yourself in a way to love someone) - then we should be rebuked by others. I, too, need to be rebuked. For in James 4:17, REMEMBER, IT IS SIN TO KNOW WHAT YOU OUGHT TO DO AND THEN NOT DO IT. and it is good, to be rebuked by brothers and sisters - that's how you grow and become stronger, and it leads you back on track with God :) and it's out of love that they're rebuking one another so YES, LOVE DOES NOT DELIGHT IN evil BUT REJOICES WITH THE TRUTH, though it may hurt - but no pain, no gain. hooray for God and his everlasting love. His love for us will never cease. and loving others IS really hard, thus, making us humans so weak compared to the almighty Father. Amen.
