snore snore snoooooore.

Day 5.

I am so tired. I slept at 1 am - ish, after the olympic opening ceremony was over. I slept till let's say 12pm, went yum cha (yums, decent chinese food!), and went shopping for tuen niii faah. And I have to say, I completely forgot about chinese new year and the events leading up to it. My mom decorated the house with vibrant coloured flowers, it was quite festive. And I had the nerve of saying, why are there so many flowers and whats the big event. smack on face. I definitely need to get my heritage roots back into me. I came back home at say, 2:30 pm, and I slept till 6 pm. -.- haah, Praise God that I have a nice comfortable home where I am able to sleep freely and undisturbed.

day 5 of love.
I had today planned out as: yum cha with family and then subway my way down to eaton centre and meet up with fellow ccf-ers! As a result, I went yum cha, but I decided to just relax and spend time with my mom, sister and brother. As much as I wanted to hang out with me fellow ccf-ers, my siblings pointed out that today is the day before chinese new year, and it's good if I spent time with my family. and it's true. How often do I show love to my mommy? She's making sooo many delicious dishes today and prepping for chinese new year, and all she asks is to enjoy the meal, so why not spend the entire day with her (even though i ended up sleeping through half the day). So my act of love, was to spend time with my mom, and hugging and kissing her. I love my mom, dad, brother, and sister. Praise God for giving them to me.

Praise #5.
I will Praise God always.

Something that is on my mind,
  • Chilie, she has received her first treatment for lung cancer, I will continue to pray that she will recover fast and continue to defeat the tumour
  • Nodar Kumaritashvili, 21/22 years old, a luger playing for the Georgian team for olympics passed away yesterday from training. I pray for strength for his family and friends.
  • AndyT, and his CTI fundrasing! haha his cover letter and e-mail message made me laugh lots. haha good job! keep it up! with Jesus, you can doooo it!!
Happy early Chinese New Year! :)
