nicaragua whaaaat.

I read my friend's one week blog today. He went to nicaragua during reading week, and he inspired me. He talked about though our standards of living may be higher than in nicaragua, the people there seem to live happily. wealth and well-being doesn't always mean we're happy - in fact, we take it for granted (we should be praising God for all that we have). And whenever we complain about our problems, saying we have it tough - well, the people in nicaragua had it worst. They suffer a lot; the children suffer, and it makes our problems seem THAT much smaller compared to them. He had a picture of a young boy, Manuel, smiling happily with H-baby's sunglasses, and you're thinking, awww cute - but he suffers from epilepsy: (taken from H-baby's blog)

At some point during recess I think he got pushed down possibly by accident and was on an onset of a seizure. Watching him on the ground there as he was getting lifted by one of his helpers onto a body pillow...I couldn't even begin to describe the feeling I had. One second he's riding on my shoulders, having the time of his life, the next, he has to go through something so unbearable. The most inspiring moment today was when he looked to be OK and started eating lunch on his chair. When he saw me again he almost jumped out of his chair and was ready to play again. I had to force him to sit down and chill out for a bit....but wow. What a trooper.

I really want to go to missions. I want to see whats out there in the world, how I can help, how I can serve God. I want to make some kid's day. I want to share God's love to everyone...Matthew 20:19-20.

act of love 15, DEAW, drop everything and watch, james and the giant peaches! They're ever sooo fuzzy! haha, and again, cwang and her great athletic skills!! it felt good taking that one hour break, even though I should be studying. and they're improving! yayyy! I think I'm moving on to "Love is not proud", let's see what happens for the next couple of days :)

Let the praises ring-a-ling and stay within our hearts.
