Walked to afm102 this morning with cwang - haha sorry! I was late to greet her! I'll try to wake up earlier next time! class was ______. I was really confused. I think I definitely need to study this during reading week, but after class, I got help from BernardK and JacquelineC! So many smart people in afm!! Thanks BernardK, JacquelineC, JasonG! I think I understand the concepts a bit more. I basically found out that if production > sales (units wise?) then absorption costing/OI is higher than variable costing/OI - and vice versa. :| yeaah. I hope I do well on this midterm, since well, I don't even have the textbook -.-

then at the saf lounge, I saw JennyH! hahah she was manning the uwac table? but it was nice to see her :) I also got to see PrashandeS and ReubanN!! HAAAAAH, ReubanN.

AFM102.
It seems that whenever I hit a brick wall, that being clicker questions that I can't answer or not understanding what my prof is teaching me; I always wonder if I'm in the right program. I know I joke about it, but seriously, accounting? I understand, accounting = a stable job if economy is having a recession = money = just better VS. science = vague = i don't really wanna do anything in that field except for learning = pharmacist or a science teacher? DILEMMA. it hurts to think about this. Moving on.

My don gave everyone on our floor our valentine's gift - playdoh. It's nice, I mean, it's pink, and its the heart that counts :) Thanks Sarah! But I decided with my roommate to make her a gift out of the playdoh - AarabhiR suggested to make a heart with hands and a body sticking out? haha. so I guess a heart as a head and such. I like it, it'll show our don how much we appreciate her efforts of managing our floor! So we plan on making that tonight, as well as a card, and who knows - i'll take a picture of it - our masterpiece!!

I treated my roommate to lunch today. fries with gravy - yums for her! haha I inisisted to buy her lunch cause well, how often do you get to do that for a friend? And the fact that I'm not seeing her as much next year - well, it's time to make the most of it. Which brings me to my roomie - AarabhiR. She's really nice, helpful, and fun :) We started this movie marathon together, where we DC++ movies and watch it together. We watched Sydney White yesterday - cheesy ending, but good nevertheless. I think this is how we bond - I mean, we have our cultural and religious differences, but I praise God that we are able to love each other and not quarrel. I heard many instances where due to religious reasons, people had to move out - and so, I thank God that we're friends and that we get along :) I think God has a reason for placing me in rev with AarabhiR, a purpose which I am unsure of at the moment. but when that purpose is revealed, I will try my hardest to do it! and this blog will keep me accountable!

day 2 of love:

BernardK and JacquelineC definitely showed patience to me today when they were teaching me how to do accounting. But patience - let's google it.

patience (by google's definition) = good-natured tolerance of delay or incompetence

let's try that: no complaining. be patient to those around me.

class time - late for math109!!!

apparently, I write too much, says wt. sooo long story short, math was FUN! had chinese new year dinner with lisa, miltonc, cwang, michaelc, carmilia, andrea, allison, densie, mattwong! haha and the LION DANCE (not dragon) was goood :)

as for breakdancing, I learned how to FREEZE. that's right. it hurts. I'm so sore, butbutbut! Aarabhi and I, we made lips and a heart out of our playdoh, and gave our don a mysterious thank-you note; hopefully she got it! So I guess that's my act of love today - thanking my don without her knowing - I hope she likes it!
